Gebrüder Weiss extends Air & Sea Management team
On 1 October, Vojislav Jevtic (39) has taken over the Groupwide Product Management Sea Freight and Project Logistics & Break Bulk Management at Gebrüder Weiss.
In his new role, the Hamburg native and former Managing Director of GW subsidiary Weiss
Ocean + Air Cargo GmbH (WOAC) will advance the global interests of the freight transportation and logistics company, especially in the field of Core Carrier Strategies and Procurement on various shipping routes. In addition, he will be responsible for the expansion of the Project Logistics and Break Bulk department. Vojislav Jevtic will report directly to GW Air & Sea Board member Heinz Senger-Weiss.
”With Vojislav Jevtic, we were able to win a very experienced air and sea freight manager who is familiar with the Gebrüder Weiss Group structure for this important task. In his 15-year tenure as the Managing Director of WOAC, he significantly helped shape the Hamburg Air & Sea branch to become what it is today and led it to success,” says Heinz Senger-Weiss.
Mr. Jevtic will remain in his present office in Hamburg until the end of this year, from January 2012 he will operate from the GW Maria Lanzendorf (Vienna) location. His successor will be Axel Falk, who has held a managerial position at WOAC for 25 years, thus ensuring a stable development process.
